Jena Jozwicki
I work with ages from young children to young adults providing individual counseling. I strive to help the people I support to gain awareness while incorporating evidence-based practices. Together, we can discover strategies to push past the things that might be holding you back from emotional regulation and happiness.
When working with young children, I utilize a child-centered approach allowing children a safe space to express themselves. When using this approach, the child is then able to open up in a trusting environment through play therapy.
When working with tweens, teens, and young adults, I utilize a more integrative approach to person-centered therapy and use interventions when needed. Clients are welcome to come and discuss what is on their minds. I also intertwine their concerns with psychoeducational support and copings skills when appropriate.
Humans are known to be resilient; when working together, we are a team. I will provide that safe and nonjudgemental space for you to be able to fully express your needs, wants, and goals for therapy.
