Jourdan Klingbeil, MA, LPC
Hi, I am Jourdan Klingbeil! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals (18+) to address disordered eating, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other stressors in life. I find passion in working collaboratively with my clients to find the best approach to enable support, discovery, and healing. Everyone is unique and an expert in their own lives, so I want to be sure to provide a safe space for each individual to explore and process their thoughts and feelings.
My goal is to be a down-to-earth, person-centered, and holistic professional by combining creativity, unconditional positive regard, empathy, and skills so each client can find healing and health in their lives.
I am experienced with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have also completed level one of Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) that I use with my clients to explore and find healing from childhood trauma. I deeply believe in the mind-body connection and am in the process of completing my certification in Somatic Experiencing (SE) so my clients can not only explore cognitively but also get in tune with their bodies and find full mind-body-spirit healing.
I am an Arizona native! I received my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and my Masters's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. In my free time, I enjoy reading a really good book, watching the latest Netflix or Amazon shows, discovering new coffee shops with my fiancé, making jewelry, paddle boarding, and spending quality time with my friends, family, and amazing snuggle pups!
