Meg Dufour, MC, LAC
Hi, I’m Meg, and I love to empower individuals and families to overcome life’s obstacles and improve their overall well-being. I'm trained in individual, family and group therapy to provide support to my clients as they develop the tools to achieve and exceed their goals.
My treatment modalities include but are not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused CBT. I am a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) instructor and recently completed certification for animal assisted therapy. Look out for Leo, my certified therapy dog, who may be available to work with clients at the nearby park or in group on occasion!
In my free time, you can find me out running, hiking in the foothills near my home, or watching "romantic comedies," with Leo by my side.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and hold a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Phoenix. I completed my Bachelors in Psychology in New York, at Siena College.
My specialties include:
- Mood disorders
- Parent/child relational issues
- Parenting challenges
